Blue Princess Cut Slit Pairing Dress With Pleated Shrug for Women

This is a gorgeous outfit! The pleated shrug adds a nice layer, and the slit gives just enough flair without being too much. Floral pattern is pretty and the blue tone is flattering.

Dress fabric feels soft and doesn’t cling. Pairing works well. Only thing: the ankle length is long — for my height (5′4″), I had to wear heels or risk stepping on the hem.

Fit is good, but if you are curvy around hips/thighs, the A-line may flare a lot. Also, floss / loose threads around the slit stitching noticed in my piece — small fix needed.

Shrug’s fabric is softer and lighter than the dress, which is nice, but feels a little bit delicate — I fear it may snag. Also, elbow sleeves may feel warm in hot weather.

Nice design and good for festive events. But the slit sometimes opens more than I expected when walking fast. Also, the shrug’s pleats lose shape after wash — needs careful ironing.
